Class Tonight

Hello Group,

We talked about Task and Learner Analysis this evening...lots of good info and things to think about. I'll share in detail on Saturday.

Monson's comments about everybody's ADDIE project
(by everybody, I mean the whole class):

1. "Is Classroom Instruction the angle to use?" Is it the best solution? It's what we're familiar with (and we, along with 5 other groups did Driver's Ed. Great idea Rossi).

2. Too many steps. Do people really remember a ton of little steps? Not so much.

3. Well done overall, although most of us were stronger on production than on task analysis.

Feedback about our personal project:

* Watch the zoom, the picture shifts back and forth and is jumpy in spots.

Leilani's Personal Concerns:

* Our Task Analysis...who is our audience? We really need to pin that down and decide on relevance. Is there a need for cultural tattoo instruction? If so, who needs it?

* Tonight in class we talked about getting info about our learners from our learners. Once again, we need to be thinking about who our learners are.

* We need to start with the "Big Rocks," or major steps in the process. I have no personal knowledge of this, but will be investigating. Then we get to break it down...to the point of silliness (remember the time that Ross kept telling Chandler and Monica that their fight was based on silliness? I think of that every time:)

* Time. We are running out of it in a major way. It's a good thing we have this Saturday.

* Another concern I'm having at this exact moment is the attention hogs that are prolonging my stay in class. I'm waiting for Monson to give me feedback about our group and the uptight individuals behind me won't shut the H up. For the love! I live way the BFE out in Orem!! And it's dark out. I could be attacked as I make my lonesome way up to the Institute. Selfish. And dumb. They are arguing over bread making. I hate them.

* Waiting....still waiting.

* Screw it. I'll post more tomorrow.
